The heat penetrates deeply into sore, tired muscles to heal and relax. The added element of chilled stones is perfect for our Darwin climate and, like a dive in the ocean on a hot day, cool, restore and energise.

Specific alternating sequences of hot and cold (thermal and cryotherapy) is known as Therapeutic Contrasting and may be useful in injury recovery (after the acute stage), particularly in the case of overuse or repetitive strain injury.
